Description

Vectra Felis Spot-On Solution is a prescription flea treatment licensed exclusively for use in cats. Containing dinotefuran and pyriproxyfen as active ingredients, it works by affecting the nervous system of adult fleas while acting as an insect growth regulator to prevent the development of juvenile flea stages. A single application prevents flea infestation for one month and inhibits flea emergence in the cat's environment for three months. Vectra Felis is a POM-V product and requires a valid veterinary prescription.

Product Description

Vectra Felis is indicated for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations in cats, using a single pipette size suitable for all cats weighing 0.6 kg to 10 kg.

For Cats:

  • Treatment and prevention of flea infestations caused by Ctenocephalides felis
  • Prevention of flea infestation for one month following a single application
  • Inhibition of flea emergence in the environment of the cat (targeting eggs, larvae, and pupae) for three months following a single application, helping to break the flea lifecycle

Which Animals Can Use Vectra Felis Spot-On?

Vectra Felis Spot-On is licensed for use in cats only, including kittens from 7 weeks of age weighing at least 0.6 kg. It must not be used in cats or kittens weighing less than 0.6 kg. Dogs in the household must only be treated with a veterinary medicinal product authorised for use in dogs — never with Vectra Felis. Always use under the direction of your vet.

  • In case of suspicion of dermatitis (itch or skin irritation), seek veterinary advice
  • Human safety — hypersensitivity: People with known hypersensitivity to dinotefuran, pyriproxyfen, or dimethyl sulfoxide should avoid contact with this product
  • Human safety — skin and eyes: The product is irritating to eyes and skin. Wash hands thoroughly and immediately after use. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or mouth. • Human safety — ingestion: In case of accidental ingestion, seek medical advice immediately and show the package leaflet or label to the physician
  • Human safety — children: Treated animals must not be handled for at least 8 hours after application; it is recommended to treat the animal in the evening.
